A Thoughtful Approach to Neuropsychological Evaluation

Chelsie K. Smyth, Psy.D.

neuropsychologist, founder

Dr. Smyth is a clinical neuropsychologist and the founder of CogniVita Center for Neuropsychology. She provides comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults, helping individuals and families better understand how their brain is working and what steps to take next.

Her work focuses on concerns related to attention, learning, memory, epilepsy, and other neurological and genetic conditions. She is adept with complex questions where clarity is needed. Her approach is calm, thoughtful, and highly individualized, with an emphasis on helping individuals and families feel informed, supported, and confident moving forward.

Dr. Smyth completed advanced training in neuropsychology, including a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at AdventHealth Orlando, where she worked with individuals facing complex medical and pre-surgical concerns. She later practiced within multiple major hospital systems, collaborating closely with medical teams to provide comprehensive neuropsychological care.

She founded CogniVita to offer a higher standard of evaluation—one that prioritizes time, clarity, and practical recommendations that can be used in everyday life.

Outside of work, Dr. Smyth enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, visiting the Disney Parks, and exploring all that Orlando has to offer.
